Windows Saviour Firewall is a malicious tool which is not worth your attention.
Just like earlier released malwares, it seeks to show hacker’s bad intentions and seeks only to swindle users’ money. So, matter that it looks completely legitimate and trusted, you must keep in mind that you have to remove Windows Saviour Firewall as soon as you can. Otherwise, you may be infected with more viruses that could simply damage your PC.
Windows Saviour Firewall is a renamed version of Windows Accidents Prevention which has been approved to be one of the most hideous rogue applications. As you may have already heard, Windows Saviour Firewall is always distributed by Trojans viruses that manage to come through security vulnerabilities found. Removal:
Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
- <random>.exe
Location of the infection:
- %UserProfile%\AppData\[random].exe
Registry Entries to be removed. (Take a backup of registry, before editing it)
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\afwserv.exe "Debugger" = 'svchost.exe'
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\avastsvc.exe "Debugger" = 'svchost.exe'
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\avastui.exe "Debugger" = 'svchost.exe'
Although it is possible to manually remove Windows Saviour Firewall, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators.
