Unknown Win32/Trojan.

Unknown Win32/Trojan is NOT a malicious Trojan that needs to be eliminated – it’s a fake alert which seeks to mislead you into thinking that your PC is infected.

Though this issue, reported by fake Microsoft Security Essentials, may sound trustworthy, the program which is offered for its removal is a useless application which can be called a tool to swindle your money. Never fall into fake MSE alerts, in the next stage offering to purchase Windows Easy Warden, Windows Armour Master or other scam. Ignore Unknown Win32/Trojan and run a reputable anti-spyware to eliminate all infected files.

When Trojans helping for the malware to get inside undetected download infected files, they set it to start as soon as PC is rebooted. So, you will receive continuous alerts reporting Unknown Win32/Trojan detected once you reboot your PC. As it was mentioned above, some of these alerts are titled with Microsoft Security Essentials name what may trick you into believing this scam even more.

Please, keep in mind that Unknown Win32/Trojan is not the subject! Run a reputable anti-spyware  to see which your real infections are. If you find your anti-spyware blocked, reboot your machine into safe mode with networking first and then repeat a scan. 

Removal:

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager: 

• <random>.exe

 Location of the infection:

1. %AppData%\[random].exe

Registry Entries to be removed. (Take a backup of registry, before editing it)

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon "Shell" = "%AppData%\[random].exe"

Although it is possible to manually remove Unknown Win32/Trojan, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
