Security Solution 2011.

 

Security Solution 2011 is a rogue antivirus program that uses a wide range of techniques and methods in order to infiltrate into random computer systems and rip their users off.

 The application uses fake scanners and hijacks your browser which completely messes up your system and it becomes impossible to perform any actions there.

Security Solution 2011 uses misleading pop up messages which warn that your computer is at risk and it requires your attention.

These messages actually push you into purchasing a so called full version of Security Solution 2011 which is presented as a tool to fix all security related issues. The application also imitates scanning your system for infections and then after displaying a long list of threats, recommends getting a full version of Security Solution 2011 in order to delete infections. However, the reality is that the scanners report about infections that either do not exist at all or they are some files of your legitimate programs. The only reason why it attempts to sell Security Solution 2011 is because of the money. Unfortunately, the program is not ready to offer any services.

You should ignore any statements by Security Solution 2011. It’s a fake application that was carefully designed by computer hackers in order to get money from computer users. If you have made a payment for this badware, don’t hesitate to contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:

• Security Solution.exe
• securityhelper.exe

 Location of the infection:

1. %AppData%\Security Solution 2011\

Registry Entries to be removed. (Take a backup of registry, before editing it)

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Security Solution 2011
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “[random]”
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Security Solution 2011 

Although it is possible to manually remove Security Solution 2011, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators.
