Windows User Satellite.

Windows User Satellite is a fake rogue anti-spyware program that is part of the Fake Microsoft Security Essentials infection.
Windows User Satellite is a fake anti-virus program which is claimed to be a useful application having numerous functions including computer’s protection and viruses’ removal. However, these computer-related activities are invented by scammers in order to make you purchase ‘licensed version’. Windows User Satellite virus begins its activity with numerous system scanners that all pretend to be searching the system for viruses. These scanners just like the ones displayed by Windows Problems Solution,Windows Optimal Settings, Windows Optimal Solution or Windows Wise Protection are usually followed by misleading pop-ups reporting viruses and offering the way how you can solve everything. Do not get too deep into this lie because finally you will find yourself scammed and left out of your money. Windows User Satellite will offer to purchase its ‘licensed’ version in order to remove reported cyber threats and this is a classical way how you can be made to share your money with scammers. None of its reported viruses are true, so you should follow the guide and remove Windows User Satellite instead of paying the money for its creators

Windows User Satellite is actively promoted by Trojans that use security holes and enter the system undetected. Besides, people may be fooled by browser hijackers and online system scanners also pushing it by offering to use free online scan which will check the system for free. Additionally, once there your system will be modified and spyware will start launching once you reboot your computer. When Windows User Satellite is being pushed, you may even receive alerts from Microsoft Security Essentials, so be aware about alerts.

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • [random].exe
Location of the infection:
  1. %UserProfile%\Application Data\[random]\
  2. %UserProfile%\Application Data\[random]\.[random].exe
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce "[random]"
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon "Shell" = '%UserProfile%\Application Data\<random>.exe'
Although it is possible to manually remove  Windows User Satellite, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
