XP Home Security 2011.

XP Home Security or XP Home Security 2011 is a dangerous malware which should be categorized as rogue anti-spyware.

Though it may look quite trustworthy and reliable, it will completely bombard you with its notifications telling about various cyber threats detected. However, you can be completely sure that XP Home Security is reporting invented viruses and is trying to swindle your money. It displays those annoying notifications with a reason to make you scared about your PC and then promises to fix everything after you pay the money. Note that if you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 OS running, you still have to be aware about this malware. XP Home Security 2011 hails from the huge family of malwares that change their names according to OS found.
XP Home Security attacks computers with a help of trojans instead of being downloaded and installed with a user’s consent. This classical way of infiltration is led by dropping some entries into the Registry, so that the challenged system would launch XP Home Security 2011 as soon as it is rebooted. As you may have already realized, malware is configured to run automatically once Windows starts and then starts displaying its earlier mentioned malicious alerts. Alerts and scanners displayed by XP Home Security are way too misleading to be taken for granted. Pay attention to the ones written below and ignore them because they have no informative value.

Of course, all those infections are not on your computer – malicious program is just seeking to make you scared. If you purchase it, XP Home Security 2011 trialware will make a huge mess on your machine, so it is highly recommended to remove XP Home Security. If left, your computer may become slow, vulnerable to other threats and hardly operable.
Removal:

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • [random].exe
Location of the infection:
  1. %Documents and Settings%\[User Name]\Local Settings\Application Data\[random].exe
  2. %Temp%\[random].exe
  •  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce "[random]"
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\msseces.exe "Debugger" = 'svchost.exe'
Although it is possible to manually remove XP Home Security 2011, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
