Defence Lab.


DefenceLab Removal Tools or Defence Lab is a fake antivirus application developed only to spread an unregistered copy of it via Internet and promote as a needed security program.
While it begins to propagate, security expert already detected it and categorized it as rogue. This early warning should prevent users from being a victim of DefenceLab fake program. Although it must have a consent and should be manually installed on computers, this program uses misleading method to attract users.
When installed and run on computer, DefenceLab Removal Tools will will display exaggerated virus scan reports in order to deceive computer users on the real security status of it. This scheme was commonly employed by rogue programs to convince user to purchase the registered version of DefenceLab before a threat can be removed.
DefenceLab Removal Tools may also be downloaded without user’s knowledge with a help of fake multimedia codecs. When installed, DefenceLab starts posing to be a real anti-spyware and may display exaggerated virus scan results, pop-up ads and fake security notifications in order to deceive users into buying its registered version. To sum up, this tactics should be familiar to those PC users who were attacked by other rogue programs. DefenceLab Removal Tools is a misleading application, so don’t fall into its trap and remove once you find this program installed in your PC.

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  •  Defence Lab.exe
Location of the infection:
  1. %Program Files%\Defence Lab Software
  2. %Documents and Settings%\All Users\Desktop\Defence Lab.lnk
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run “Defence Lab”
Although it is possible to manually remove Defence Lab, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators.
