Net Protector AntiVirus.



Net Protector AntiVirus  is a rogue anti-malware program that may give false or exaggerated reports of threats on your computer.

The misleading program has to be manually installed. Once installed, it will state that your computer is infected. It then prompts you to upgrade Net Protector AntiVirus to remove the infections and to protect your computer against other malware. The problem is that most of the reported threats are either false or don't even exist. Please don't install or purchase this program. If you have already installed it onto your computer then please follow the removal instructions below. You can remove Net Protector AntiVirus from the computer either manually or with an automatic removal tool.


 It is distributed with help of trojans and malicious websites. When installed, Net Protector AntiVirus causes lots of trouble starting with annoying pop-ups and finishing with slow computer. The malware may also hijack a web browser and it may disable regular security tools.
The pop-ups generated by Net Protector AntiVirus demand purchasing the program. Do not step into this trap and do not pay for such a malicious thing.

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Message Labs\Net Protector\Config
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\SPYWAREPROTECTION\STATUS
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\SPYWAREPROTECTION\FastScan\Huristic
Although it is possible to manually remove Net Protector AntiVirus, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
