Antivirus XP Pro.




Antivirus XP Pro is a new fake anti-spyware application that pretends protection from spyware.
Program imitates fake system scan after which claims that your computer has multiple infections and system risks. This scare tactics is made to push users into buying of non working program. When Antivirus XP Pro is running on your computer it configures itself to start with every Windows session.

Application comes to computer via downloads or trojans, sometimes user haven’t even notice when it comes to computer, program is able to install itself without users permission. Antivirus XP Pro can become a reason of plenty problems on your machine, some of them makes computer very slow and the other ones blocks access to the websites that promotes real anti-spyware programs. Also Antivirus XP Pro changes settings of your browser and may redirect you to the websites with rogue content. To avoid all these problems we recommend you to use reliable spyware remover tool and delete this parasite as soon as possible.


Removal:

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager: 
  • AntivirusXP.exe
 Location of the infection:
  1. c:\Program Files\AntivirusXP
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AntivirusXP
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop "NoChangingWallpaper" = "1"
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Framework Windows"
Although it is possible to manually remove Antivirus XP Pro, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
