SecureDefense.

SecureDefense is a rogue antivirus that is distributed using malware.
It belongs to Wini rogue family, together with IronProtector and similar rogues. Typically, you start getting alerts of SecureDefense after downloading Flash or other software updates to watch specific movie files. While you can get other malware from these updates (like notorious Security Tool), you might catch SecureDefense or related rogues as well.
After this fake antivirus is installed, you get a fake windows security center, countless alerts about system vulnerability and faked system scan in start up.

After clicking you are redirected to pages to download or purchase full version of this scam. Most of other pages are blocked, as a hijacker is installed in usual browsers. The Secure Defense hijacker will show a warning like this when opening safe and reputable websites to download legitimate tools.
Removal:
Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • <random>.exe
 Location of the infection:
  1. c:\Program Files\[Random]\<random>.exe
  2. %UserDir%\Local Settings\Temp\<random>.exe
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "[random].exe"
Although it is possible to manually remove SecureDefense, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
