Windows Stability Alarm.

Windows Stability Alarm is a rogue anti-spyware that hails from the same rogues’ family as Windows Accelerating Utility malware which has been noticed infecting PC uses recently.
Windows Stability Alarm is really good at attacking computers without letting users know – it gets inside the system with a help of Trojans that come together with insecure updates such as video codecs. To prevent this stealthy intrusion, please install licensed version of legitimate anti-spyware which will provide you so called ‘real time protection’.

When it’s inside and active, Windows Stability Alarm will appear on your desktop every time PC is rebooted. Scam will display exaggerated alerts and scanners that will report the same invented facts about your computer. To make you scared, Windows Stability Alarm displays such alerts, sometimes even titled with Microsoft Security Essentials name.

Together with these alerts, this rogue program will also be running falsified scanners that will keep popping up on you each time you log into Windows. This scam has been also noticed to let more viruses inside the compromised machine and slow it down extremely. All this activity of Windows Stability Alarm will become extremely annoying for any PC user. By displaying its fake pop-up ads, malware expects to scare its victims and push them into purchasing the fake license. Please, never buy Windows Stability Alarm license! It must be removed from the system immediately after you notice it. Besides, it must be said that you should also resist from removing its ‘viruses’ reported because some of these files may be legitimate your system files. Please, remove Windows Stability Alarm as soon as possible.
Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • <random>.exe
 Location of the infection:
  1. %UserProfile%\Application Data\Microsoft\[random].exe
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\afwserv.exe "Debugger" = 'svchost.exe'
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\avastsvc.exe "Debugger" = 'svchost.exe
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\ekrn.exe "Debugger" = 'svchost.exe'
Although it is possible to manually remove Windows Stability Alarm, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
