Total Protect.



Total Protect is a rogue anti-spyware that soon will become unwanted if it manages to get on your machine.
In order to launch once PC is rebooted, it is designed to make some secret modifications to computer’s registry. Avoid them with licensed anti-virus and anti-spyware programs installed because only these programs. Those programs will provide real time protection and help to remove viruses. If your PC is unprotected, Total Protect will easily get inside the system with a help of various insecure downloads. This stealthily way of infiltration is additionally followed by unexpected scanners and alerts of Total Protect AV. They are based on fake virus detection alerts that should be ignored without any doubt. We highly recommend you to remove Total Protect and make your machine clean again.
Having got inside, Total Protect is usually launched as soon as PC is rebooted. So, every time the PC boots up, you will receive lots of false ads and fabricated scanners that all claim your computer is in danger and contains numerous spyware, viruses and other threats inside. It must be said that those alerts and scan results of Total Protect are totally faked so please do not react to them by removing ‘viruses’ reported. Keep in mind that these viruses are invented by the program, so they can be legitimate your system files but not the ones that must be removed. The only reason why this scam tries to scare you about your machine is money – Total Protect will claim that only its ‘registered’ software is capable to remove all detections.

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager: 
  • RtlDriver32.exe
 Location of the infection:
  1. %Appdata%\RtlDriver32.exe
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "[random numbers]"
Although it is possible to manually remove fake Total Protect, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
