MyWebSearch Adware.

 
MyWebSearch, is a malicious adware application that tends to be distributed by its affiliated website.

  MyWebSearch’s spying to access user’s personal information and display targeted advertisements according to the collected information. MyWebSearch might block you accessing search engines and legitimate websites and result in system failures. Remove MyWebSearch immediately once it’s found on your Computer.


To completely purge MyWebSearch from your computer, you need to delete the files, folders, and Windows registry keys, and registry values associated with MyWebSearch. 

 Removal:

Remove these files:

  • C:\Program Files\Funwebproducts\mwsoemon.exe
  • C:\WINDOWS\system32\f3PSSavr.scr

Infected Registry Entries to be removed:(Take a backup of registry, before editing it)

  •  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerBrowser HelperObjects{07B18EA1-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA}
  •  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMICROSOFTWINDOWSCURRENTVERSIONRUNMyWebSearch Email Plugin
  •  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\RUN\MyWebSearch Email Plugin
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{07B18EA1-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA}
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser HelperObjects\{00A6FAF1-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D}


After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
