ResultDNS.




ResultDNS is a Potentially Unwanted Software.
ResultDNS is the adware, which poses to be a legitimate web program which offers “useful” services. However, it gets inside the PC after being downloaded manually or with a help of Trojans and once installed starts continuous redirections to its linked domains.
ResultDNS is misleading and it won’t stop until it is not uninstalled. You will be suffering from continuous redirections, pop-up ads and fake notifications. Please, remove ResultDNS adware to stop these actions.

Properties:
  • ResultDNS is Adware that can present itself as a toolbar.
  • ResultDNS logs your internet browsing history.
  • ResultDNS displays lots of annoying advertisements.
  • ResultDNS may infect your system via spyware or freeware.
  • ResultDNS may repair its files, spread or update by itself.
  • ResultDNS may prove difficult or impossible to remove.
  • ResultDNS violates your privacy and compromises your security. 
Removal:
Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • uninstall.exe
  • resultdns.exe
Location of the infection:
  1. C:\Program Files\ResultDns\resultdns.exe
  2. C:\Program Files\ResultDns\uninstall.exe
  3. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ResultDns\resultdns111.exe 
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ResultDns Service
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_RESULTDNS_SERVICE
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ResultDns
Although it is possible to manually remove ResultDNS, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
