Wireshark Antivirus.

Wireshark Antivirus is a rogue anti-spyware program that reports false system security threats and displays fake security alerts about non-existent infections.
The rogue program is promoted through a variety of attack vectors that contain a link to the download page, Trojans that automatically download the rogue program on the computer or misleading websites that display fake online anti-malware scanners with false scan results. The main goal of Wireshark Antivirus is to convince users into purchasing the program. Don't buy this bogus program. If you have already purchased it then please contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. Then, please use the removal instructions below to remove Wireshark Antivirus from your computer either manually or with an automatic removal tool.

Once Wireshark Antivirus is installed, it will be configured to run automatically when your computer starts. The rogue program will scan your computer and state that you have malware infections and that these infections will be removed after you purchase the software. These results are fake and these infections do not exist on your computer. Instead they are only being shown to scare you into purchasing the software. The program also makes it difficult to uninstall. What is more, Wireshark Antivirus will block nearly all legitimate programs, even a notepad and state that it is infected. It will also displays many fake security alerts and pop-ups with misleading information. If you find that your computer is infected with this rogue program, please get rid of it as soon as possible.

Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • Wireshark Antivirus.exe
Location of the infection:
  1. C:\Program Files\Wireshark Antivirus\Wireshark Antivirus.exe
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce "Wireshark Antivirus.exe
Although it is possible to manually remove Wireshark Antivirus, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
