Malware Doc.

Malware Doc is a fake system optimization program. This parasite displays false results in order to scare users and convince them to buy useless application.
Usually, Malware Doc is advertised as online scanner. The fake scanner does system check and then prompts user to download Malware Doc if he wants to remove infections that has been found during the fake scan.

Once installed and active, Malware Doc performs fake scan every time the system boots. After the fake scan, scammers suggest to buy a full version of this rogue, because trial version can only detect infections, but is unable to remove them. Also this parasite can do more damage to the system. Malware Doc modifies the Windows host file in order to redirect access to computer security websites. The rogue can decrease performance and make system work slower or run less efficiently. So, basically everything is done to disrupt user's work flow. Nothing strange that the user then searches for the way out of unsuitable situation. The worst is when user decides to use Malware Doc and buys full version of this worthless application. The better option is to remove this parasite as soon as possible after infection.

Removal:
Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • MDsetup.exe
 Location of the infection:
  1. c:\Program Files\Malware Doctor\
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Malware Doctor\AntiSpy Knight
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Malware Doctor_is1
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Alcmtr"
Although it is possible to manually remove Malware Doc, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
