Milestone Antivirus.

Milestone Antivirus is a typical scamware hailing from misleading family of scams just like Wireshark Antivirus.
This cyber threat applies the same annoying ways of swindling users’ money: first of all it will claim about numerous viruses detected inside the system, then offers its removal services. Just like any other scamware, it must be eliminated as soon as it is noticed because you may not only lose your money, but have more viruses installed unexpectedly. Remove Milestone Antivirus with some reputable anti-spyware tool.

Malicious programs like this usually start acting out of nowhere. Milestone Antivirus starts its activity without the user’s consent and knowledge because it is usually installed by trojans. However, if you have a licensed anti-spyware on your computer, you will avoid Milestone Antivirus stealthy intrusion. After getting inside, malware will display various alerts that should be always ignored and never reacted to.

They all tend to scare you into thinking that your machine is infected and that you need to install Milestone Antivirus. However, this malware is not for free! Its victims are always made to pay for its ‘licensed’ software which in reality is useless just like its trial. Please, never purchase this scam and remove Milestone Antivirus as soon as possible.
Removal:
Kill malicious Processes from Task Manager:
  • conhost.exe
 Location of the infection:
  1. c:\Program Files\scdata\
  2. c:\Program Files\conhost.exe
  3. c:\Program Files\csrss.exe
  4. c:\Program Files\sh3.dat
  5. c:\Program Files\nuar.old
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Milestone Antivirus
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\QTUpdate
Although it is possible to manually remove Milestone Antivirus, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend  malware and spyware removal applications.

After removing all these files, restart your computer and the issue will be fixed. And don’t forget to do update your Security Software, check the Firewall Settings and the Operating System and finally do a full system scan with the Security Software.
